This week my Daughter Kelly and I hosted my "daughter in love's" baby shower.
We all had a wonderful time.
Here is the present table with the diaper cake I made her...
Here is the food table.
Its actually the Island in my kitchen wearing a skirt :)
Here are some random shots of the party and decor.
My Daughter put this cute little cloths line up.
I thought it looked so cute with the blue of the
little boy clothes and my buttery yellow walls.
Here is the Diaper Cake I made her...
We are all huge Disney Fans, so this cake got a touch of Vintage Mickey and so did the baby blue boy clothes hanging on the cloths line.
Costco Cupcakes and we added some decorations.
Afternoon Mimosas with a cherry in the bottom
How cute is this Preggers wire dress form?
(update: I got the dress form online here)
Thank you for coming Favors

ReplyDeleteDoesn't a baby shower just bring out the best in us? We are expecting our next grand in December, and are so sad that it's probably our last. Can't wait til someday I can do the "great grand" thing, and keep the tradition going. Love the wire dress form. I may have to get me one of those!
ReplyDeleteI love your Mickey diaper cake. Have fun when the little guy arrives:)
ReplyDeleteJoyce
this is the 2nd I've heard lately about "retro" Mickey baby theme. My dental hygenist's daughter just did an entire nursery for her baby boy...blessings and you did a fabulous job!! The bride is blessed to have you as a friend.
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas for a baby shower! I like how you skirted your island to dress it up for the buffet food.
ReplyDeleteDD
How exciting to host a baby shower for your daughter in law! Love the whole layout -- your kitchen island dresses up nicely in a skirt. Did it wear heels too? :-)
ReplyDeleteThe dress form is a hoot!
