Mosaic Monday and Halloween 2009

This week my mosaic is dedicated to the wonderful musical WICKED!
My daughter and I saw it when it was here in Phoenix and we just loved it!

So much happened before Dorothy dropped in!

The prequel to "The Wizard of Oz," this musical tells the tale of two women - one born with green skin and the other beautiful and popular, who become friends before becoming Glenda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West.

This WICKED Mosaic is dedicated to my daughter Kelly who loves to go to and to watch musicals with me. And to my new blogger friend who lives in Kansas,

Dave over at My Year on the Grill.

Caden and Mady and Corbin

My Jack-O-Lantern this year...
I used small clear marbles and a changing color LED inside.
The photo doesn't do it justice in the dark! It came out awesome.

My Son Scott, his wife Cara, my Grandkids Mady (Tinker Belle) Caden (Captain Hook) and Corbin (Frankie-Baby)

Looks like we are burning the witch at the steak...
We sat in the driveway by the fire and gave out candy while the kids went Trick or treating.

Here's "Creepy Guy" hanging around again!

Hope you had a great Halloween!

Thank you for visiting

  12. Thanks for the shout out, yeah, we Kansasans even resent Harry Potter a bit cause the Wonderful Wizard of Oz isn;t as popular any more... But Wicked sure gave life to the old girl.

One of the best songs from the show... nice touch... New look on the blog looks good, but I miss the Halloween touches

  19. You have a beautiful family and great taste in musicals. Wicked was one of my favorites. I also read the book. It completely changed the way I thought about the story.
