So this week its a very simple

presto change-o project.

I metamorphosed a letter holder 

into a hair products holder!

I bought this blue letter holder at Ross

for this ridiculous price:

 

Decided it was a bit too bright blue for me...

So I took a rag and some glaze and 

in 10 minutes the letter holder fit my style.

Only I'm not using it as a letter holder... 

It hangs in my bathroom for things I need on hand.

An Anniversary tablescape.

While on our little trip to Mexico it was

my son and Daughter in Love's 5th wedding anniversary.

So I used what I could find on hand at the condo.

This is my make-do tablescape for my kids...

I sent the kids and grandkids down to the pool as soon as we arrived at the condo.

I looked over the tables I had to choose from:

The condo dining room:

Or the Patio dining table.... Dahhhhh

I brought the candles and the tablecloth

 then went through the condo and put together...

the rest of the tablescape.

 

I tell you, it was the best dinner ever!

We ate a meal I had already prepared at home and just warmed up... 

And lingered at the table for hours!

What a perfect week end in Mexico!

A beautiful beach, my family and a 

gorgeous condo with an incredible view!

Lets start with the beach and ocean...

The warm sand... perfect weather... 

Not too cold, not at all hot... 

A light breeze whispers through the palapa... 

The scent of the ocean barely there.

The children play in the sand and we all play in the surf!

The water was incredibly warm as it always is in the Sea of Cortez.

We relax with a good book...

Buy impossibly fresh and perfectly ripe mangos from the beach vendors.

Get our hair braided...

Oh Yes!

Perhaps a massage?

A colorful~tropical drink?

Perhaps a new friend to play with?

Or a nap?

 

Being with Family on a lovely Holiday!

Thanks for all your well wishes before I left...

I got each and every comment you all left 

via my cell phone while I was there.

Most of all I came back rested and relaxed.

Finger food... 

This is what I thought of 

when I saw the theme for this weeks post.

My Grandson Caden eating 

Fresh Fruit "Finger food"

(Say that fast three times!)

The peach theme is going to have to continue next week...

I'm packing to go on a trip this weekend...

We leave Friday afternoon, 

everyone took off work early!

Did you realize "Peach" rhymes with "Beach"?

Our Family is packing up the car and heading to 

Puerto Penasco, Mexico for the long holiday weekend.

We drive down there (41/2 hours) a couple of times a year

 and rent a beautiful 2 bedroom condo at a resort. 

Its really the way to go with a large family.

We bring all our food and drinks with us.

And just relax and enjoy life!

We all are in need of some beach time too!

Its been in the triple digits this week, then the temps dropped to the 70's with rain!

Weird weather... better spent at the beach I say!

Any day is a good day wt the beach!

I'll post photos on Outdoor Wedensday!

Lets not forget why we have a long week end too...

Have a safe and fun Memorial Day long week end!
