I'm joining Lady Katherine's Tea Time Tuesday Meme today...
I went to Paris... (Paris, Las Vegas) and found this delightful little tea set for my Granddaughter Mady's 6th birthday. I had been looking on E-Bay and in thrift shops and I walked into a little shop under the Eiffel Tower and there it was...
(Click any Photo to enlarge)
Its a serving for four, with a tea pot, creamer, sugar, four cups and saucers that are just the right size, and four little plates that hold a cup cake or little cake perfectly. I bought it on the spot and had the shop keeper hold it for me as I was on foot that day and didn't want to drag it around for hours. She did gladly and when I walked back it to pick it up she had it all wrapped up and bagged and said;
"Theres the fun Gramma!".
We set the tea party for two today... but we have setting for 4.
Perhaps we will invite Mommy and Auntie next time...
She was SO happy when she opened the box and started pulling out pieces. She said "Gramma is this for my tablescapes!?
The dishes and tea cups are little enough for little girls hands but not too small that its only one sippy sip of tea! It really is the perfect set and we are going to have lots of fun with it...
It even came with that pretty little tray!
Thank you Miss Katherine for inviting me to join up with your tea party today!
