Summer has rolled in rather quickly this year. Hot weather, vegetable gardens bursting with the bounty of the warm summer nights... Candles and dinner on the patio. Watching the stars from a lawn chair. Because its my favorite time of year, thats when I have my Summer Time Giveaway!
A few months back I received a Give certificate for NOVICA.
What an interesting company and concept!
National Geographic is in association with this venture and they are helping Artists from around the world sell their art, textiles and crafts to help support their families! I think its a splendid idea! Their web site is gorgeous! With bright beautiful photos that you can enlarge. And your order comes gift wrapped with a hand signed note card from the artist.
I ordered two items:
One was backordered but both were shipped together beautifully gift wrapped! I felt like it was my birthday!
I ordered a cotton Tunic and a hand held game. The tunic looks adorable with leggings and sandals and the game is so much fun. Everyone that comes over picks it up and plays it!
(And it doesn't need batteries!)

I would LOVE to use that $50.00 gift certificate to get one of the wood sculptures by Made Wirata! Like this one here http://www.novica.com/itemdetail/index.cfm?pid=86008 or another Mother and Child sculpture. These are very beautiful and would love to start collecting things like this now that I'm a new Mommy! :)
